I get less pain in my wrists and joints. I've started using the rotary cutter since I had my first carpel tunnel symptoms and I never looked back since then. I still use my shears, when the rotary cutter doesn't apply; they are always on my sewing table. When cutting slippery fabrics I pull out my Gingers with serrated knife edges and happily move it along.
