MY BELL BOTTOMS WORKED TODAY...

... and I loved them mainly because my good fit didn't grow during the day.  This width pant leg is new to me, and at first I thought it wouldn't be a comfortable style for me - but I actually liked having a little difference.  Not loving the top as much, and may shorten it a bit and taper at the side seams.  But for now it is wearable.

  3. I love this look on you. I have made wide legged pants several times and struggle with them, but I always think they look so stylish on others. I like the top with them, too.

  6. I love your outfit! I'd also leave the top as is - the whole thing has an adorable 70's vibe!

  7. After all that work with the top Faye - I quite like the slouchy, relaxed feel of the top - maybe it's more a weekend top. The pants are lovely - it takes a while to get used to a new style. As Uta says, it does look nice and 70's.

  11. Really sharp. I think I like the top that length, it makes a nice smooth line arm to leg. And it is good looking too!

  12. Shut the front door! Faye, this ensemble is super cute. Those pants look so nice on you and don't mention the top. You look great in both pieces, but no surprise here.

  15. Your bell bottoms are really cute! I think you're right, and the top could be an inch or 2 shorter, but overall it's a great outfit!

I love this outfit on you! I think the wide leg is very flattering and yours look great! I recently made some beach pajamas for a great gatsby sewalong and they are VERY wide legged. But, I love them. I did them in a very thin, light viscose challis and they just drape and flow.
