I noticed a few negative reviews also but I don't care, I still enjoyed it. It would have been nice if there was more focus on some of the later fashion - especially the suits she's so known for - but it was still entertaining.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing this one.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, just told my DD the other day that I'd like to see Courtney Cox do Coco, because I think there is somekind of resemblance in them, or maybe it's just me? Do you know what she did? she asked me who's Courtney Cox, oooohhh, the yougsters! LOL!!
Shirley will do me fine though.
I was disappointed although the acting was good and I enjoyed watching it. Maybe it was just my expectations were very different. I expected more fashion - even the runway shows went so fast that I couldn't see the details. Also, CoCoa was presented as a Saint which she certainly was not (just amazingly creative). I understand good taste in ommiting much of her life, but there was very little reference to her "lively" life.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I enjoyed the show and actually watched it twice, I expected more focus on fashion than her lost love.
