SLOW PACED SEWING...

...sometimes only a little hand hemming will do.  It yields much better results on some fabrics.  I made this slow paced hand stitching job much more enjoyable with a big old cup of Cafe Kahlu'a Brulee.

My own invention - not too bad at all!!!

  1. So true! I love handstitching jobs. A cup of something and some music in the background, and I'm good to go. It also gives some kind of couture-feel to your project. Even if it's not. Not really...

  2. I recently learned how to blind stitch by hand. Though I don't think I'll do it often, I know it will be useful when maneuvering the fabric by machine gets to be too much.
