NATIONAL SEWING MONTH - DAY 5...

...
SEWING TIP OF THE DAY
(Maybe you've heard this, but just in case you haven't)

RIGHT SIDE - WRONG SIDE
Some fabrics look almost identical on the right and wrong sides.  Before removing your pattern completely, label the wrong side of the fabric with painter's tape.  The tape has a matte surface that allows you to make notes if you like, adheres firmly to the fabric but will not leave a residue when removed.

  2. Interesting and clever...I usually pin the wrong side of a fabric piece. If it's a fine fabric I pin the seam allowance.
