BRINGING CARDI TO THE PARTY...
...I just happened to stumble onto a nice sweater knit graphic print at Hancock's earlier this week that insisted on coming home with me. It's like an animal print gone aztec. I knew what I'd make of it when I first spotted it - another cardi from McCall's 6844. Yes I love this design - this makes number 3 (made here and here). Guess you could say that I've really gotten my money's worth out of this pattern.
This cardi will definitely coordinate with existing pieces in my closet like black or brown pants and skirts and of course jeans. A quick and easy wardrobe addition that took two evenings after work to complete - what more could I ask? I think three of View C is enough, but now I am thinking about using the pattern at least once more to make View A or B in a solid color....

Is that a shawl collar ? I love it. Never made one. Have to hone my skills and try out one. The pattern is worth the repeat.. Nice job on the cardi :)

DeleteI haven't seen this pattern before. This is very similar to the cardigan jacket I made last weekend but I like it better! A great wardrobe addition.

DeleteAn oldie but a goodie...and like my grandma use to say "if it ain't broken then don't fix it. Love this one just like the others. I am going to go through my stash and make at least 2 more. Maybe you should have a sew along with this pattern???

I've been catching up on my blog reading and commenting and this is the second version of this cardi that I've seen tonight! Both fabulous...its' a sign - perhaps I need this pattern. I wish we still had Hancock Fabrics around...closest one to me is about an hour. Anyway, love your cardi and the fabric is perfect!
