Oooh! Polka dots!
ReplyDeleteKyle it's a light weight double knit that I found at Goodwill to use for making muslins. It actually turned out to be quite a whimsical little knit jacket and who knows - I just might wear it.
DeleteSneaky sewing…heh..heh…shhhh…I won't tell anyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping my secret Tomasa!
DeleteOoo, I know that procrastination so well!
ReplyDeleteBunny that's exactly what sneaky sewing is - procrastination. You nailed it!
DeleteHey a girls gotta do what she needs and if that means squeezing sewing time....go for it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know that's right Diane. At times I think that if I don't sew - I'll burst(hahaha).
DeleteWe have to get it in when we can. Great way to keep the mojo tuned. Good luck with resolving the collar issue.
ReplyDeleteIt's a slow go Cennetta but are exactly right, get it in when I can. I had to follow "me made" instructions to get that collar on.
Deleteit's all good! nothing can go wrong with polka dots lol!
ReplyDeleteHelen
I love polka dots too Helen!
DeleteAgreed, sneaking a bit of sewing time in is a good idea ...
ReplyDeleteIt certainly works for me Sarah!
DeleteSounds like fun! I'll be sewing tonight!
ReplyDeleteI actually had to cut it off early Tee. I have to get up mighty early in the mornings.
DeleteOh man, this is when the best sewing is done! I second Kyle's sentiment: oooo polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI love getting little bits in sometimes Lynn. And yes the polka dots are speaking loudly to me.
DeleteHi Faye,
ReplyDeleteI totally get the 'sew when u can' mindset! It's definitely better than zero!
The fabric is cute. Perfect for Summer! Hope the jacket turns out alright.
Summer
I am so fearful of notched collars, because of their trickiness. A lil sewing definitely goes a long way. I do the bulk of my sewing on the weekend and during the week tinker around with a lil sewing.
