NATIONAL SEWING MONTH - DAY 7...

SEWING TIP OF THE DAY
(Maybe you've heard this, but just in case you haven't) 

For perfectly straight top-stitching place masking tape along the edge of fabric to establish a stitching guide to follow. Just stitch along the edge of the tape then remove the tape when you are finished.

    Hmmm! I may need to add a sewing tips section to my sewing reference binder.

    1. Alethia remember all of this is my problem too. Now that sewing reference binder that you mentioned is actually another in itself!

  2. I've not tried that, though I wonder if they make tape with graph paper like markings you could use for nice even hand sewing.
