...This weekend I spent time re-making a pattern I've done before. It was a little different than making lovable TNT pattern that fit so well that you want to make it over and over again. I re-made this top because I just wasn't satisfied with results the first time around.
I'm sure you all remember this top...
Have you given any patterns a second chance recently???

Yes Ms Faye, I have given a couple of patterns a second chance and they turned out to be TNT's for me the second time around! Moral of the story...never give up on a pattern the first time!
ReplyDeleteI really like top too!
That's very pretty, and will you wear it with your leggins?
ReplyDeleteWell, we can't just read this and move on! We want to know details....it's all in the details. And to answer your question - I've been sewing for 50+ years and I don't think I've ever made a disappointing pattern twice.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Sounds like sticking to it paid off!
ReplyDeleteGlad your second time around produced a pretty tunic with the drape you wanted. Also wondering will your wear it with your leggings...
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful that you had enough fabric to try that top again, and I'm sure someone will love it.
ReplyDeleteI've sewn this pattern twice - once as a top and then lengthened to a dress and love them both! I must admit that I rarely give a pattern a second chance if the first time was a flop. Love your fabric choice.
ReplyDeleteI have this pattern. Now I'm going to push it forward on my sewing list. Love yours.
