There is one more apron waiting to be made up. Now I need to force myself out of the sewing room to get ready for an early afternoon pre-Superbowl fish fry. I only plan on staying about two hours, so maybe, just maybe that next apron might come into being. We'll see...
That's a very pretty apron, love the ruffles. If you were to come pay me a visit, you would most likely find me in an apron. I always wear one in the kitchen and garden. Plan on making some myself soon.
ReplyDeleteI love aprons, and like you, they bring back fond memories. My grandmother used her apron as a "bowl". She would sit on her porch swing with a basket of freshly picked green beans or peas, snap the ends off, and put them in her apron skirt, and then just pick the apron up and go off to wash them. Yes, we lived on a farm!

ReplyDeleteOh boy this is cute! I love polka dots and I love this colour combination. I need to make some aprons. I have two that were gifts from a friend, but they are looking a little worse for wear as I tend to wipe my hands on them when I'm cooking. Some ruffles would be lovely.
