Several ladies have already expressed an interest in joining me in sprucing up my wardrobe with extra tops. This sew-a-long is quite simple:
- Choose your fabrics
- Choose your patterns (or self draft)
- Add a new twist to a TNT top
- No quotas
- No limits
- You choose how many you want;
- and by November 30th we will have a number of added wardrobe options.
Soooo, if you are interested in joining, just post here or shoot me an email so I can add you to the list. THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!
It was also suggested that we do a Spring Month of Tops; soooo April it shall be....
The line drawings show a pattern with a lot of promise! I look forward to seeing your month of tops! :)
ReplyDeleteI have that pattern. It may be next on my list! Count me in.
ReplyDeleteI love the designs you have chosen. Looking forward to seeing them finished.
ReplyDeleteCould you please add me to your 'Sewing Tops' list.
I am totally in! This is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteMy 8 year old was sick today, so I had to stay home with him. I made TWO Jalie tops while here!! Does that count? I have been on something of a top roll lately. (Obsession, maybe?)
ReplyDeletewonderful sew-along. good luck to u :)
ReplyDeleteI started a list last night while I was watching television and tonight I'm pulling out fabrics. I have about a dozen empty hangers that need filling!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had time, but by the time I finish the grands Christmas stuff and the other things going on I won't have time. I'm looking forward to seeing yours and all the other top of the month bloggers.
ReplyDeleteOk, I will participate. I need tops (and bottoms). So maybe I can squeeze in a few bottoms too. Thanks for the comment on my blog. The fabric I'm using for McCalls 5987 is from my stash and it's drapey type fabric and I thought it would be perfect for that. Not sure what it is, but it's been in the stash about three years. I need to quickly sew it up because I may only have this coming weekend to comfortably wear it!
ReplyDeleteHmmm-maybe. I'll think for a day or two and see if I have the time. A gal can always use tops!
ReplyDeleteI'm suppose to be making a trenchcoat plus I have holiday sewing to do. I guess I can fit some tops in too. By the way I didn't comment the other day, your Chanel jacket is to die for. You did such a beautiful job. I know you are proud. Thanks also for the comment you left me on my jacket. It a work in progress.
ReplyDeleteI'm in. I need new tops to get me thru the winter.
ReplyDeleteGreat sew along ideal... Nov. is so busy but I'm in! Been looking over my top patterns and fabric... I really need some long sleeve knit tops! Plus I can work them into the fall/winter wardrobe I'm already sewing!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made many tops, but I do need some. I'll join in on the fun, too! I love the line drawings. What pattern is that?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Faye! (My name is Angela, but Songlalala is fine. :)) I need to cut out a top now.
ReplyDeleteHi! I would like to join ,too!
ReplyDeleteMy first sew-along...:-)
Sounds wonderful! Unfortunately I cannot commit to this great sew along at this time. However I will be checking in to see everyone’s progress.
