BLOGLIKECRAZY DAY 2: WORK WEAR WEDNESDAY...

...this second Vogue 9402 woven tie neck blouse is a nice addition to my work wear wardrobe.  I paired it with existing brown self-made pants today, but feel that it will also work well with tan or beige skirts or pants for variation.

I'll call this pattern a success having it made it twice with no alterations at all (now that's a miracle in itself) and would highly recommend it to others.  I feel that it can be dressed up or down to fit your particular taste.  I'm not sure I'll make it again, unless I find some gorgeous fabric in black.

This 100% poly fabric was very comfortable because our temperatures, although still in the low 90's, are not sweltering like back in the summer.  Now let me see what I can get made for next Wednesday...

  7. Lovely! I saw the red one and loved it, too. It's funny how fabric choice can make the same pattern look so different.

  8. Nice fabric; it gives your top a different look entirely from a solid color. Good luck picking out another fun pattern....unless you find that perfect black or some other color you love!

  9. Beautiful Ms. Faye! I really like this with the pants you paired it with! I also, think if you found a beautiful black fabric, this would be a gorgeous staple basic in your wardrobe. Good luck on next Wednesday's project!
