SATURDAY MORNING CUTTING TABLE ROLL CALL...

...Just peeked in at The Tell Tale Tasha's where she showed a picture of her cutting table that made me laugh...it's nice to see that I'm not the only one.  Here's the status of my table...

It made me wonder just how many cutting tables around the world are in similar states of disarray "how in the world did all this stuff end up hereness".  So I'm doing Saturday Morning Cutting Table Roll Call.  What's the status of your table...DO TELL...

  1. Since I spent the day cutting out yesterday, mine's nicely empty. But it won't last.

  2. Ha! Mine is fairly clean. But as you know, I've been reorganizing today, not sewing. Your table is just well loved! ;)

  3. Your picture warmed my heart. I have about 30 minutes of tidying up before I can start the next project. I just figure that the mess is documentation of my creative process!

    1. Mine on the other hand is documentation of me not doing any sewing, just piling stuff on the table.

  4. I have a client's coat facing and collar laid out ready for me to fuse the interfacing to it. With a myriad of other sewing notions and bins holding odds and ends!!! It is never entirely empty or clear!

    1. I understand Tee. If it is ever clear, it's only momentary.

  5. I have three ongoing projects sitting on my table with a fourth near completion. I'm really trying to tame that procrastination beast and get some projects done that I've planned for a couple of years. I'm happy to say I've been really productive for the past month!

    1. Oh another production line up. Great for you. I'm in the process of switching my mind over to spring sewing - always such a chore for me.

  6. Mine is clear, but it was a mess before. The mess moved from the cutting area to my sewing machine. I have 3 blouses/shirts cut out for spring.

  7. Mine has the small remnants of a cut blouse. A first for me to only have one project out at once. Normally, I might have two to three open cutting, or planning sessions going at once.
