WHO NEEDS EARLY...

...let's just skip right on over to Fall!  That's exactly what Vogue Patterns did.  I have been in great anticipation of Vogue's Early Fall pattern release.  I kept thinking, "what's taking them so long with their early Fall renderings"?.  Well I just noticed that they are up... and can I say... I think I'm in trouble!  25 patterns and at first glance I think I can say that there are only 3 that I don't want.  Even if purchased at a $4.99 pattern sale, they would still equal a "SMALL FORTUNE".  Hopefully, by the time I look at them again I will have developed a strong dislike for at least 10 of them.  Why oh why do I love Vogue Patterns so much???

Being the avid coat pattern collector that I am, this Lialia by Julia Alarcon is one of the ones that is high up on my list.  Vogue 1562; sleek, classic and double breasted.  What more could I ask for?

Have you seen the new Fall offerings from Vogue Patterns yet?  Which ones are to your liking???

    2. Faye, I just reviewed the Summer/Fall collection and sadly for me, other than your coat and one summer dress, I wasn't "Wowed" with their collection. Which isn't unusual for me because I don't own very many Vogue patterns. Still debating on the purchasing that dress pattern too.

    3. Myra I do understand. I am easily wowed when it comes to patterns which explains my over abundant pattern collection. Sometimes I look back and say to myself "what in the world was I thinking when I bought this pattern". I am trying to calm my pattern buying spirit down though (lol).

  3. 25 patterns is a lot!! Some years are just better than others though, and maybe this is that year. I think the 9269 shirtdress has a cool look (and I like that it's shorter, so possibly less work for my frame?), and you know I'm a sucker for the colorblocking on the 1555 Tom and Linda Platt dress. It's a beautiful collection for sure!

    1. I finally made it to the fabric store today. First Warner Robins and of course NOTHING! I knew it was going to be a wasted trip. So I then had to travel to Macon.

    1. I'd like that coat in solid black wool Tomasa, but for some reason solid black is hard to find in my city.

  6. Hey Ms. Faye! I saw those early Fall Vogues, and they look great! For some reason I don't seem to sew a lot of Vogue patterns, but that could change soon...

    1. Hey Vanessa. I use to afraid of Vogue patterns because people always told me they were HARD. But once I ventured off into Vogue I found that I LOVE them!

  7. Vogue has nicer details than the other "big 3", so you like them better. And of course, the idea of new and different clothes makes you want them all! I am avoiding looking, because I don't want to be intrigued right now....
