NEW FALL INSPIRATION

My new Speigel catalog came today. Boy have I changed. Years ago I'd already be on the telephone placing my order (lol). Now a days all I want to do is bath in all the inspiration for sewing that it gives. Why am I telling myself that I can make all of these clothes?, they are beautiful!

That pinstripe skirt is lookin' great and that Betzina top is awsome too. Pinstripes are great, think about pink-peachy one with chocolate stripe, yummy!!!
I have to think seriously about the jacket post, do I wanna go thru my Burda's since the -70's again?Patrones's and all the rest??? I might, though, I'm grazy that way, LOL!!!!

  4. I love the Spiegel catalogue. You are right it is a great source of inspiration. I rarely buy the things in catalogues or magazine. I'd rather try to make it. I'm sure you'll be copying your favorite designs.

  5. I remembered my grandmother got me this jeans suit from spiegal that I wanted when I was 18,, I never wore it, but boy did I love their clothes, then I got this really nice red leather jacket from them years ago, I love that jacket, I would pay anything from that catalog even if I sew, the quality is worth the money

  6. I always loved the Spiegel catalog! It reminds me of when I was 12, and my best friend (a huge fashion diva even at that age!) was ordering from Spiegel back then.

  8. Faye - mine is laying in the inspiration pile also. I like how they show entire wardrobes from the same fabric with accompanying tops.
