BLOGLIKECRAZY 2016 DAY 6: I LIKE THE WAY SHE SEWS...

...have you ever visited a sewing blog and thought to yourself, "I like the way she sews".  The way she styles her makes, the patterns and fabrics she chooses, the fit she achieves, or even her photographs.  You like it all - you like the way she sews.

I can't remember how I found Anne Whalley.com
but every time I see her name pop up on my Bloglovin feed or in an Instagram post, my eyes widen and what ever she's wearing gets my full attention.

I took this quote from Anne's Pattern Review.com profile:

"I am excited about fabric and commercial patterns. I am an image consultant who specializes in connecting the right fabric with the right pattern. I love to test patterns and discover go-to patterns that deliver an outfit that reveals individual personality and suits the body shape and looks great."
What about this dress and back drop?  My jaw dropped when I first saw it.
As an Image Consultant Anne is "Passionate about bringing out the best in you".

  6. I like that dress and backdrop, too! I found a dress in a style similar to that in my closet last week, where it has hidden since 1988 (and the 15 pounds I lost this year means I fit into it again). As a sad note, that dress has a "made in USA" label in it. You're doing great on your "post a day" pledge!

    1. The good thing about the made in USA label Marjie is that you know how to reinforce those seams to make the dress last and last. Isn't this a gorgeous fabric in Anne's dress. As for the post a day pledge, I'm working hard to stay a day ahead of the game.

  8. Ha, had to smile at the picture. I have taken the exact picture of my sister in front of that mural. It is in Richmond, a suburb of Melbourne Australia. Lots of fabulous trendy cafes for brunch. And I can usually get a car park in the street that has the mural. :)
