Alethia Hudson of Sew Alethia, and administrator of Sew Much Talent GR, sponsors a sewing challenge month of the year. January's challenge is "New Year's Resolution (Stash Busting) that incorporates a different challenge each week. This week it's OUTERWEAR - so tonight I did a periscope in support of the challenge called "Baby It's Cold Outside". You can watch it here.
Nervous as heck, I talked about:
- Just what is outerwear?
- My current outerwear project
- types of outerwear
- Fabric selection, and
- Pattern suggestions
If you are interested and would like to have this pattern, please leave a comment below...
Faye you did an awesome job on your scope.
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice of you to do these give-a-ways 😀 (I do have this pattern so no need to put my name in the draw :).
Thank you Ann, scoping does not come easy for me, but then again nothing in life has ever come easy. I am so glad that you enjoyed it.
DeleteHi Faye - I tried watching, but I guess too many people were on at the same time, as it froze on me several times. From what I did see, it looked really interesting so I will definitely try again later.
ReplyDeleteWould love to be in the running for the pattern.
Thanks,
Summer
My niece was born on June 21st and I tried so hard to get my sister to name her SUMMER - she didn't, but I still think it a beautiful name! So sorry about the freezing it was a problem for most of the scope. I will be on again on Wednesday with part 2. Thank you for entering my drawing.
DeleteFaye you did an awesome job on the scope last night! If you were nervous, I don't believe anybody noticed (at least I didn't, LOL!). I'm so happy to see you getting more comfortable with scoping! Looking forward to your scopes Wednesday and Friday. I have this pattern already so no need to include me in this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMyra thank you for always encouraging and supporting my non-scoping self! (hahaha)I am still having to push myself to do them, but once I've committed I have to see it through. I'll be looking for you on Wednesday and Friday if you have time!
DeleteHi Miss Faye...you did a wonderful job on your scope. I loved the fabric that you showed...looking forward to seeing the faux leather in action!!! I would love to be considered for the giveaway....thanks anyway..with or without a giveaway
ReplyDeleteHey Patrice! My scopes are done nervously, but one day I am going to be able to feel comfortable in doing them - I'm speaking that into existence. I'm happy to add you to the give-a-way!
DeleteYour scope was great, Faye! Thank you so much for sharing your love of coats. :) I have this pattern, so no need to enter me in the giveaway - just wanted to give you some positive feedback on a job well done!
