Faye - Second Version of Butterick 6425

Since the pattern was still out and this was such a quick top to make, I decided to make a second version.  I purchased this knit I know not when or where (I usually remember).  I made a top from it several years ago that's still in my closet and I still have enough left for a third top.

I did go up a size on this version for a little more ease in the bust area. I used a neckband finish again and also shortened the pattern because I did not want the tunic length.  I highly recommend this pattern if you are looking to give the cold shoulder design a try.  Two tops in one weekend was a sewing win for me even though they are the same style.  Hope I'll be able to get at least two more done during the course of the work week.

WHO'S TOP WILL BE UP NEXT???

  3. I love seeing the tops as you post. I'm amazed at how fast you all sew! I liked your pink top, but I'm loving this one. Myra and Sheila did impressive jobs also. I finished one on Saturday and wore it that night! I just have to stop sewing long enough to get pictures.
